Play Adventure at Niguel Botanical Preserve

Niguel Botanical Preserve

Took these photos at Niguel Botanical Preserve in the heart of Laguna Niguel at Crown Valley Community Park. We saw lots of lizards and a few rabbits. We spent a fun afternoon adventuring and letting the kids lead the way. Looks like the preserve is a work-in-progress since the early 80′s and they are always making improvements.

I still need to do it myself – but there’s a website where you can log and share your wildlife sightings called WildObs (Wildlife Observer). It even offers an iPhone app so you can record critters when you’re on the go. When I can, I’ll be uploading my little lizard here for my “life list.”

Great pix! And yes, come join us on Wildobs.com — it's easy, and it's so cool to see what critters everyone else is finding.

Cheers- Bethe
