Wildlife. This park drops in to Whiting Ranch and there are lots of critters around. Most recently we caught a rattlesnake slithering around. Also coyotes are frequent visitors but tend to stay far and come out at night. A random skunk or two might wander through. The soccer field was badly damaged in the 2007 fires. As we watched the fires come for us, it made a swift turn in to the park. It was the saddest site to see deer, coyotes, skunks, rats and bunnies running down your street trying to get out of it's path. One more thing to be aware of. Wildlife.
