Fun Orange County Parks endeavors to provide the best insider information to city and county parks. This is only possible when visitors recommend their favorite parks and share their expert knowledge on this simple form. Then I scurry out to give the park a good play, take photos and create a map link. As you might imagine, this could take a while to cover the entire County of Orange. I’m always thinking of different ways to connect my visitors to play experiences — and this post seems like a useful tool.
The PARK pages of city websites are often buried and difficult to find. Furthermore, city websites do not provide the extensive information crammed into this blog. The most glaring difference: they do not account for personal experience. As a mom and play enthusiast, I usually find their information inadequate. Many times it is dated or lacking playground photos. However, it’s better than nothing and serves as a substitute until I can post all Orange County parks here in one streamlined and uniform format.
